Estate planning can be a complicated procedure and we do our best to make sure that our clients have all the facts, know the implications of their decisions and are able to ensure that their wishes will be honored.

We offer assistance in four main areas of estate planning:

Wills and Trusts — Our attorney can draft simple wills, wills with testamentary trusts (for minor and adult children) and guardianship nominations (to designate the person(s) to raise your minor children and take care of their money), simple trusts and marital bypass trusts, which may avoid unnecessary estate taxes between married couples.

Advanced Health Care Directives — Also known as a living will, this gives you control over your own care in the event of a terminal illness, dementia, coma or if you are otherwise unable to make your own healthcare decisions.

Financial Powers of Attorney — By designating a power of attorney, you are able to appoint someone to take care of your financial affairs if you become incapacitated or if you are often out of the country and unable to deal with these tasks yourself.

Probate — After the passing of a loved one, we will work with the Court and the Executor to make sure that all debts are paid, estate and personal tax returns are completed, and the estate assets are distributed as specified in your loved one's will.
